Aaron White (@aaronwolfwhite): Co-Founder

Originally from NYC, Aaron is the North America editor of openDemocracy’s ourEconomy section. He recently completed an MA Distinction in European Culture and Thought at UCL. Interested in applying critical theory to contemporary society,  his dissertation focused on the role of anti-terror aesthetics in reinforcing a narrative of fear within urban environments.  His papers can be accessed here. Prior to studying in London, he obtained a BA Summa Cum Laude in Philosophy and International Relations from SUNY Geneseo. Studying classical and jazz piano for nearly the entirety of his life, Aaron also has a passion for both performing and working in the music production industry.

Freddie Stuart (@freddiestuart12): Co-Founder

Originally from London, Freddie completed his undergraduate in History at the University of Nottingham in 2017. Since then he has graduated top of his program from a Masters in Political Philosophy at UCL. He specialises in Marxian social and economic theory, and his MA thesis focused on the current and future role of automated technology in the society of late Capitalism. He now works as a freelance producer for openDemocracy, and as a podcast presenter at The World Transformed.
